In a global pandemic caused by infected meat, two boys find they're much less alone than they thought.
Engagement Programme Delivered:
In response to the UK Tour of ‘All of Them, Dead’, we created a paid position for both 1 Trainee Assistant
Director and 1 Response Play Director to join the process. We then hired 4 paid shadow directors to join the
process to demystify the rehearsal process.
Via an open call submission, we commissioned 4 short response plays to ‘All of Them, Dead’, which were
staged
before the opening of our tour. These plays were directed by both our Trainee AD and our Response Play
director,
using 8 emerging, community actors.
We then ran 4 open call writing, directing, physical theatre and producing workshops to over 80 creatives.
We
then collaborated with Zine company, Imperfect Bound, to deliver 7 zine making workshops to each of our tour
stop destinations.
Overall, we developed over 200 emerging creatives through this engagement process.
All Of Them, Dead is a play about being young, gay and working-class in the middle of nowhere. It’s about the
things that go unsaid, it’s about two boys holding hands, it’s about clinging together as the world changes
around you. And it’s about meat falling from the sky (no, really).
Like ‘Heartstopper’ meets ‘The Day Of The Triffids’, All Of Them, Dead is a sharp, funny and touching queer love
story for the end of the world.

Finally, a story for the rural queer kids…Full of tenderness yet brimming with doubt and
shame.
